Studio Work with Smoke and Lip-Sync

Outfit and Hair choice:

As a group we decided to change the outfit for this scene, we all agreed that changing the outfit for each scene will make it look more realistic and professional. We didn't want to over complicate the make-up, hair or outfit so having Abbie dress in tights and an oversized white shirt cohered the representation of her pain and not being able to get dressed. Again, with the make-up we didn't want to contradict this representation and kept my make-up simple with just a little bit of gold eye shadow and a natural red lip.

Gathering Equipment:
We have a smoke machine finally! Our friend, Holly, was willing to let us borrow her smoke machine for this scene of the music video. Abbie tested it out on a white background, in front of the lights, she got some close up videos of the smoke as well.

Inspiration:
Because Abbie was filming by herself, she was struggling on how she should portray emotion via movement without any direction from us as her group. Therefore she researched Rihanna's 'We Found Love' music video to get some inspiration. Her video is about her leaving her partner as she fell out of love with him. Even though it is the other way round in out video, Rihanna still portrays heartbreak in her video when she is stood in front of the projector. Abbie tried to recreate her movements which are seen quite dramatic and over exaggerated but they fit really well with the music.
